Rob graduated with a BA (Hons) in History of Art and entered the antiques trade in 1985 as a trainee auctioneer. He diversified into buying and restoring antiques, setting up the workshop in 1987. Having had a life-long interest in woodwork, he spent the next fifteen years acquiring a wide range of restoration techniques. With a strong interest in art history and architecture, he enjoys combining research with hands-on practical skills. Rob became an accredited member of the British Antique Furniture Restorers' Association (BAFRA) in 1994.

Interests: Outdoor pursuits, walking, gardening, cooking and pursuing a sustainable lifestyle.
